Submit abstract / paper / poster
Please be aware that the deadline for abstracts has now passed and we are no longer accepting submissions.
Submitting a full paper
1) Log into your account, place the cursor over the "my account tab" and select "my papers" from the menu that drops down
2) Select your paper. This should take you to a screen that shows the title, keywords, and your scheduled slot
3) Just above the title there are tabs that say "view" and "edit". Select “edit”
Some delegates are experiencing difficulty here as, due to the formatting of the website, their title pushes the tabs off the screen. If you cannot see these tabs, go to your web-browser address bar and add /edit to the end of the address.
4) This will take you to the submission form screen. Make sure you change the submission type to "Full paper", then scroll to the bottom and upload the full paper.
Please ensure the file is a .pdf document and named in the following format ICABEEP2011_surname_keyword, for example ICABEEP2011_Smith_Employment.pdf
5) Save the changes and now the full paper should have been loaded successfully
Please do NOT attempt to submit a full paper using the ‘submission form’ link to the left of this message.
Delegates who wish to give a presentation (oral or poster) must first submit an abstract. Abstracts should be clear, concise and written in English, and should not exceed 500 words. Within the abstract please indicate whether the proposed talk/poster is theoretical or empirical.
At least one of the authors is required to register, attend and present the work as scheduled. When submitting your proposal you should be prepared to attend the full conference. No requests for changes to the programme schedule can be accommodated (unless in extreme circumstances). If the presenting author cannot attend the meeting, it is the author’s responsibility to notify the organizing committee. If a presenting author is unable to attend the meeting, the presenting author must contact the scientific committee in writing to either withdraw the abstract or propose a substitute speaker.
All abstracts should be submitted no later than the 18th Feb 2011 via the portal (deadlines are for midnight in your own time zone, or ours, whichever is the later). Acknowledgments will be sent to your email address. If you do not receive an email within two working days please contact us email@example.com All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and authors will be notified by the 1st April regarding the reviewers’ decision. Abstracts will be judged on the basis of novelty, soundness of methodology, significance of contribution and clarity.
The corresponding author will receive all correspondence concerning the submission and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the submission. It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract; accepted abstracts will be reproduced as submitted, including possible errors. Accepted abstracts will be published electronically on the web site and on a published CD. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of the long abstract, but you can present a shorter abstract in the full paper. Please include approximately 5 appropriate key words.
If you only wish to apply for a poster presentation – please include a note to this effect at the end of the abstract.

Saturday 1st January - Friday 18th February - Initial abstract submission date
NOTICE: In order to submit you will first be required to register. Currently all registrations are being checked by hand. We endeavor to do this as quickly as possible. However, there may be a slight delay between registering and being able to submit. If you miss the deadline because of this issue – we will still accept your paper.
Friday 1st April - Results of peer review submitted and requests for modification sent out
Monday 30th May - full text submission deadline
Friday 8th July - presentation submission deadline*
Deadlines are for midnight in your own time zone, or ours, whichever is the later.
*We have asked for presentations to be sent by this date so that we can pre-load them before each session begins. We would therefore be grateful if you could not make changes to your presentation after this date.
